My American Mind podcasts treat current events through classical American thinking. Wouldn’t it be interesting to have one of our founding fathers show up today and hear his opinion of all that has transpired in the past 240 years? Without question, he would sing praises for his country’s technological advances. He would marvel at all that has happened in medicine. He would be thrilled to see so many colleges and universities filled with eager students, and from all walks of life. He would be amazed at the assimilation of so many ethnicities. Also, and sadly, what would he think of our cultural divergence, not just from one another, but from the original vision held for America at her founding?
